A recent study by the Aspen Institute, titled “Rainy Days Don’t Retire,” found that 47% of seniors in America do not have enough liquid savings to protect themselves from financial shocks.

Targeted initiatives, matched savings programs, and alternative financial tools can help participants save, manage debt and acquire assets, while also avoiding the fees and accessibility challenges associated with mainstream banking.
