This webinar is intended for staff and leadership of financial institutions, banks and credit unions, to learn about the Bank On Maryland program.

You’re invited to a special lunch and learn, “Bank On 101,” hosted by the CASH Campaign of Maryland and featuring Maryland’s Commissioner on Financial Regulation, Tony Salazar and Cities for Financial Empowerment’s David Rothstein. The webinar will bring together Chartered Depository Institutions in Maryland to explore and discuss the benefits of participating in the Bank On program. Bank On is a transformative initiative designed to promote financial inclusion by encouraging banks to offer low-fee accounts to unbanked and underbanked individuals. This program plays a crucial role in empowering marginalized communities to access safe, low-cost banking products and services.

During this engaging webinar, participants will gain insights into the importance of offering Bank On accounts and the positive impact they can have on the financial landscape of Maryland. Our speakers will provide valuable perspectives on the program’s significance and how financial institutions can collaborate to support its mission.

About Us

Since 2008, The CASH Campaign of Maryland has operated the Maryland CASH Academy, an online platform that provides free, fact-based financial education classes taught by its highly trained staff and Network Partners. The platform also works to communicate and connect people to a variety of financial capability services such as free financial coaching and benefits screening. CASH Academy centralizes class information, provides easy registration, links to other services, and encourages participant feedback. Curriculum is drawn from accredited, national sources and includes topics such as creating a budget, safe banking, building credit, reducing debt, and avoiding fees.
