The CASH (Creating Assets Savings and Hope) Campaign of Maryland is a nonprofit organization that promotes economic advancement for low-to-moderate income individuals and families in Baltimore and across Maryland. CASH accomplishes its mission through operating a portfolio of direct service programs, building organizational and field capacity, and leading policy and advocacy initiatives to strengthen family economic stability. The CASH Campaign of Maryland provides a range of direct services and leads a coalition of partners. The coalition partners include foundations, nonprofits, community-based organizations, government agencies, the Internal Revenue Service, and hundreds of volunteers.

CASH Campaign of Maryland focuses on the following core strategies to accomplish its mission:
- Provides free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to help low-income individuals and families file tax returns, avoid predatory fees and claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
- Coordinates and expands access to free, fact-based financial education and coaching
- Connects low-income individuals and families to high-quality financial services and products
- Recruits, trains, and manages a corps of volunteers
- Leads a network of direct service providers that offer free tax preparation, financial education and coaching, benefits screening, and access to appropriate financial services
- Builds statewide program capacity by integrating asset building services into public and private systems
- Leads research and advocacy on effective program practices, innovative state policies, and issues affecting the financial security of low-income individuals and families
